Preparing Digital Artwork Details:
Basic Guidelines:
1. File Types:
For the best quality in the print process we recommend you send your files as EPS or PDF these files are capable of keeping the fonts as vector format which will always print with a finer quality than fonts included in a bitmap images.
Please send all your files in EPS, PDF, BMP, JPEG or TIFF format. (Files saved as BMP, JPEG or TIFF must be to scale and 300 dpi minimum)
2. Crop Marks:
Be sure to use the proper template for your project, leave the crop marks as the top layer and be sure the bleed guides are turned off.
3. Color:
Send all files in CMYK mode unless a spot color is specified, RGB files must be converted to CMYK.
B&W images must be grayscale.
4. Embedded Fonts:
All EPS and PDF files must have embedded fonts. All fonts must be outlined.
5. Embedded Images:
Files must include all graphic images (i.e. logos, digital artwork). Minimum resolution required is:
300 dpi for full color artwork or grayscale
Images and logos from Web sites are NOT usable for print
