UPC-A Barcodes are a universal format and can be used
in any country.
Be Careful of other barcode "suppliers" who claim they
are selling you a code that is solely yours. The truth
is that the barcode belongs to those who hold the
licence with GS1. The first five digits of every barcode
(company prefix) represents the licence holder.
In the case of our codes, the first five digits will always
represent Aurea Media.
It is for this reason that we supply a member certificate
with each barcode. This will allow you access into some
of the worlds largest retailers like Wal Mart, Best Buy,
Amazon.com, etc.
If it's critical you have your own prefix number then you
must contact GS1 to establish your own licsence.
